Is there something that sounds new to you?
The Premium plan, of course. It is a new subscription plan, which allows sharing the 2D-3D previews through a custom link. It also includes a custom company logo view. No references to Packly will be shown to customers. The new plan will premiere at Viscom!
And the APIs, I guess. It is the new service for the integration of Packly features on external apps through our Application Programming Interfaces. The APIs allow creating an application for custom packaging design in total autonomy by easily integrating Packly’s dieline and custom 3Ds generator!
During Viscom 2018 Packly, HP and Zund will introduce an exclusive project: Go on a trip. It might be described as an experiential journey during which Viscom’s visitors will have exclusive access to the backstage of a packaging digital production cycle.
The three companies shared their technical know-how to set up a unique production live demo. “Go on a trip” refers to the path taken by the attendees to reach each booth and experience in real time the workflow of their bespoke package. The same trip took by the box. After a simple registration, every packaging professional may take this trip to undergo the innovative workflow, entirely digital, of their custom box. All begins with Packly.
During the first stage, visitors could personalize both the sizes and the graphics of their own “Go on a trip” box in real time and in just a few clicks at the booth E14, Hall 12. After generating the custom packaging dieline, the executive file is sent to HP’s booth, which takes care of the printing. There the visitors may attend the live printing demo carried out with HP’s digital printers. The last stop of this exciting trip is Zund’s booth. At this stage, attendees can take part in cutting and finishing operations and then they can get their custom packaging together with some special gadgets produced by the companies.
