The story of the Tiffany box

It was in the late 1800s when Charles Lewis Tiffany borrowed around $1000 to open his first stationery and fine goods store. His passion for beauty and luxury items led him to design the most famous diamond jewels in the world.

The most iconic is the engagement ring, halfway between a flower and a star, studded with diamonds. It became by far the most desired item by women throughout the world. Actresses like Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway and Kate Winslet have chosen to wear Tiffany jewels at important awards. Global success came in 1961 with the unforgettable film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring Audrey Hepburn.

The brand pillars are in fact the unmistakable Pantone 1837, patented and withdrawn from the market. In addition there’s the white ribbon sealing the box and amazing the future owners of the splendid gems. The latter is also protected by a registered trademark and has itself become a jewel.

The brand collaborated with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham to create the Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box®. A limited series of 49 sculptures, each artwork rethinks an important piece of Tiffany’s heritage through the artist’s “Future Relics” aesthetic, in which he imagines cultural objects as if discovered in the distant future.

The Tiffany brand today

It seems that many of Tiffany’s customers would like to buy the box exclusively. If you really can’t purchase even a silver pendant, we advise you to search online, there are many replicas. Sure, they won’t be exactly the same, but they look a lot like the originals. The famous turquoise is a distinctive mark not only for packaging but also for stores and merchandising. It basically conveys the meaning of unprecedented serenity, tradition, and success.

Focus on the environment

As a large company, Tiffany has quickly valued the environmental impact of its production. The company uses at least 50% recycled material for its corrugated cardboard.
